Inside 9thwardJay’s Wusahh Session at 757 Dream Lab Studio
A camera operator leans into the shot. Jay and a collaborator hold their places on a set dressed with greenery. Later, the film places a finished music-video image beside the performance being captured.
That view of the work is the subject of 9th Ward Jay — Wusahh: Behind the Scenes Rapumentary at 757 Dream Lab Studio. Produced by Dreamin Innovations in Hampton, Virginia, the six-minute film follows the people, preparation and performance around the session.
A performance on set sits beside the finished music-video image. Original music-video filming: AyeMontie.
The people behind the picture
The behind-the-scenes camera keeps the setup in view: lights, camera work, conversations and the space around the performers. Those details show how a studio becomes part of a particular project.
Between the performance and the finished shot, there is a crew at work.
The production credits matter here. AyeMontie filmed the original music video. Dreamin Innovations produced the rapumentary and behind-the-scenes film. The feature brings those views together while keeping each contribution clear.
A look built around the music
Purple graphics carry the SAY LUV artwork into the film. Lower thirds introduce the artist and identify Wusahh, while the performance and behind-the-scenes footage give the song a visual setting.
The film’s Wusahh graphic connects the session to the SAY LUV release.
